Team News

Hey everyone-

Our season ended abruptly with Sunday's rainout at GAPSS.  Even with that, it was a great season and I wanted to thank all the players and parents for making it that way.  Seasons like this come along only once in awhile - hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.  I look forward to next season but am still enjoying the memories from this past one!!  Good luck to all our players who are heading off to college:  K-Mac....already working hard in year 2 at the University of Charleston, Houk....heading to Tiffin, Jami and Kate....headed to Otterbein.   Enjoy!!  I've added some pictures from the GAPSS tourney on the pictures page - check them out.

We are in the homestretch of what has been an incredible season!  With one tournament to go (GAPSS), we have compiled an overall record of 26-10-4, and more importantly have gotten exposure with many quality college programs which is our number one goal.  A summary of our finishes this season is as follows:

Toledo Tune Up Classic     2nd Place
Compuware Classic           1st Place
ASA Nat'l Qualifier 18U                4th Place
Stingray Showcase            4th Place
Loudonville 18U                3rd Place

Congratulations to the Stingrays Morman Team on your 4th place finish in 18U ASA Tourney!!  It was a really hot weekend for softball, but even after a tough pool draw, you fought your way back to a 4th place finish in the  tourney.  Keep playing hard!
